Hello everyone, and thanx for opening..time to read.
OK, so i really want a new phone.
My prepaid boost mobile phone really sucks, and i'm ready to sign up
with a carrier.
Dilema?? Obviously which phone should I get.
You see, i am very picky. I look at the design of the phone first and then look at the services it offers and such, and then I look at the carrier (yes, very stupid, but i choose look over everything).
Ok, besides that, there is no phone that really catches my eye in the US market right now.
I live in the US (Mass. to be exact), but i would really love a Vodafone or a DoCoMo phone. Know i know that there are limitations to that (a.k.a. not being able to switch carriers and such...trust me, i've done my research), but recently, my friend came back from Germany (i think, i don't quite recall), and he was using a phone from there.
Now i don't know much about CDMA, or GSM and such, but i mean..he said that he was able to switch from carriers and such. Was he bluffing???
I don't know, but he better watch his balls if he was.
So i was wondering, would it be possible to bring a Vodafone and us it in the US, with an US carrier of course???
If not, i'll just have to camp out for the LGVX700 from Verizon, which is what i can compare as close as what the US has for a Japanese/Vodafone looking piece of cell phone.
Please let me know. Thanx for listening.
