Decent Horror films?

I'm in the mood for a recent (god) horror film.

erm.......... I watched Eden Lake recently, released last year or early this year i don't know, but it is a really good horror film.

One of the few horror films I have actually jumped/made noises at.

Hills have eyes remake on Film4 now.

Is Eden Lake a HORROR film though ?
The subject matter could be described as "horrifying", although I would call the film a "Thriller" rather than "Horror"

IMO the two best horror films I have seen in years

[rec] - fantastic. Avoid the sequel and the US remake.

Martyrs - french horror, best watched before you know any spoilers.

The Orphanage - Spanish horror, actually quite moving in the end

The Crazies was a lot better than I expected

Avoid 30 Days Of Night, honestly one of the worst films I've seen in recent years, we almost walked out (me and my friend who went to see it christened it 30 Days Of Shite).
