Death Magnetic

All metallica threaRAB attact absolute morons.

I'd bet good money that these idiots don't even like old metallica because its too pussy when compared to their Agrophobic Nosebleed, Larab of God, Dilinger Esacpe Plan and Hide my homosexaulity complex.

Old was better, I wish cliff was alive, I love napster so I hate metallica, james is a pussy, why did they cut their hair, load was a loan roflmao \mm/, even the black album sucked.

There I wrote your ****ing thesis. Make this sig and you can post blank boxes.

IT WAS a re/load sequel.
sloppy sound, dull instrumentals,choppy production.
nothing changed.
really, nothing changed, metallica fans are just too sucked up in the hype of a new album that they all think its brilliant stuff. in two years you will all agree with me.

....it's really hard not to think you're speaking out of pure ignorance, but I'll bite. How is this thrash metal album a sequel to a hard rock album with ****ty production? This one sounRAB like it cost atleast a few grand to produce, and St. Anger sounded like it cost a few bucks.
Neither Load or ReLoad contained instrumentals, either.

Well i'm listening to it now, so i'm not as horribly disappointed as i thought i would be! Drums are high in the mix but to be honest it doesn't bother me that much, and i'm been nodding my head a few times in approval.

The few songs I've heard off the album were unimpressive, but I'll give the whole thing a spin later. I've never really had much affection for Metallica, but boy is Ride the Lightning a great album.

His vocals over the last few years haven't been as great as they were in the 80's and 90's......may be due to stage wear and aging, but I don't think he's intentionally trying to hold anything back. I miss some of the power he had in the 90's, it's especially noticeable on the S&M album....

My Apocalypse wasn't all that bad. Definitely their best so far. SounRAB a lot more thrashy although nothing like RTL/Kill Em All.
But still, i liked it!

Ha, dude I've said the same thing for weeks.
That, and the vocals are a tad bit buried....and James neeRAB to write better lyrics on a few songs......but this kicks ass.
First thrash album since ...And Justice For All.

Yup, the lyrics are bullshit.
Well, i got more or less what i expected - An Improvement from St. Anger but nothing great either. Definitely listenable for a month or two, but It'll fade off after that.

Haha i was going to iplayer it later tonight as a matter of fact! I've had several peeps tell me to watch it, ta for the link.

Don't get me wrong...I still love the guys. But this one just didn't do it for me. I can send ya a linky if you wanna check it out for yourself.

I wonder who else really liked The Unforgiven III? I especially liked the piano intro. Also Suicide and Redemption is a pretty good instrumental too.

Can't wait to pick DM up tomorrow...
