Well my buddies and I took our Duc's in for their 600mile service.

Popcorn has a Pearl White 696 Monster. 520miles.

G has a Pearl White 848. 747miles

I have the Red 1098. 1108miles.

Dealer got all 3 Duc's slid into the overbooked schedule, got the bikes there just before opening time, checked us in, had all done before 12noon. G and I have a maintenance plan from the dealer, covers all maintenance for 3yrs, unlimited miles. While in, my rt rear blinker was inop, normally not an issue, but Military Police like messing with riders. They fixed it with a new bulb. $0.00 out of my pocket. G's 848 Horn wasn't working, loose wire or something, fixed that and he didn't even mention it to them, he was a little excited cause our Warrant was also with us and buying a S4RS Tricolore. $0.00 out of G's pocket. Popcorn had no issues other than being a little shy of 600miles on his Monster, $184 out of his pocket.
The maintenance plan also covers the in b/w services oil changes as well, so our personal service rep asked to have the trio back when we're at 3,000miles. I was so happy. G was very happy as well.

Only bad thing from today, Popcorns shift lever bolt came loose, fell out and the shifter popped off while riding down a twisty section, snapping off the shift rod. So he limped it home in 2d gear. Dealer will be driving the 65miles down south to pick his Monster up Monday, no question or complaints from them. That made a bad situation a little better, no hassle is always nice.

Our Chief bought his S4RS Tri and is loving it. Traded in his 2007 ZX-6. Within the first 25miles he'd already shaved the chicken strips down to itty bitty wings, smaller than he had on the ZX which he had for over a year! He's loving the Big Monster.

Just thought I'd share our positive experience with our dealership. Go Fay Myers, you rock!

If I read it correctly, You and G did not have to pay for the 600 miles services?

And why is it that things seem to fall apart after you leave the shop?

Otherwise, they seem to treat you very well. No appointments for the three bikes and done by noon.

Well the appt. were kind of made... when we wanted in the sked, it was full, but the service rep slid us in, just had to be there before opening time to ensure we'd be golden.

I have no idea, but isn't the first time I've heard of issues after a service. I think its cause the Monsters mad at him for not being able to ride that much

G and I opted for the Service Plan the Dealer offered. $1400 added at time of financing for 3yrs of service w/ no out of pocket expenses. 600mi, 7500, 15k etc. pay for non of that over the next 3yrs. So long as we get 15k on the bikes in 3yrs, we cover our initial $1400 option. I'm sure I'll smash that

COS Duc Dealer will not give any discount on the Bikes we've purchased. Would not offer any information on service/maintenance scheduled when asked directly. Had someone working there that basically acted like a "stereotypical" Ducati guy, arrogant snotty etc... I've heard there is a a guy there who is very cool and into the Co. Sportbike Club or something, but sorry, the COS dealership is no where near the quality of Fay Myers in my opinion.

duddeeeeee I live 5.58 miles from fay myers! I am from the highlands ranch area and I am so glad you posted your experiences with fay myers, thank you! I have one question though, would it be good for me to buy the white 848 from them? how much do you think I can get it? I went there and they had only one white 848 and I really wanted it and it was 13500 msrp.... theres also two other dealers in walnut street and colorado springs.....so where should I buy it and what kind of deal do you think they will give me?

The white 848 that sold about 2weeks ago my buddy bought. He was able to get a small bit off the MSRP due to military. Seems the 848 and 1098 are hot ticket bikes so there was less interest to reduce pricing. In COS we couldn't even get a pair of gloves thrown into the deal (not that we did at Fay's, but I got a great deal on my trade-in + a little incentive, one got a few hundred off his Monster + a great trade in value and the 848 got the hook with a bit off for Military appreciation).

I've talked with a few shops since moving to CO, each time had every intention on buying. But I didn't buy until I met Sam, sales at Fay Myers. Cool guy, rides a 749 and pretty much a no shit kind of guy, if he can hook you up with anything he will... Fay has "dealer bucks" basically a certificate for $xxx that you can use to buy gear or whatever, when negotiating your price ask for some, he'll take care of you.. might help if you tell him Charlie w/ 1098 sent you. Freddie is another sales guy there, also cool as shit. We'll be hooking up probably next w/e for a group ride with them.
For me and my buddies we're very pleased with the service, customer care etc from Fay's. My warrant had the same experience at other dealers and then I hooked him up with Sam...took a few minutes talking, a signature or two and the deal was on. Good stuff.

Well, more feel good for our dealer. Monday morning Fay Myers picked up the 696 Monster, dealership is in Denver and Monster was Colorado Springs ~53miles. They got the Monster in the shop, made an eval of the situation, checked a couple misc. Duc's on the showroom floor and found another Duc not sure what model, with a shifter bolt that was backed out about 1/4 turn from tight/ and not torqued. The dealer called at noon today (Tues) and had completed the necessary repairs. My buddy just got off night shift and asked when they would deliver the Monster, the service tech got the GM on the phone and the GM said no problem, we'll get it loaded right now and drop her off, we just wanted to make sure you or a designated rep would be able to receive her! So they loaded up the Monster and drove the ~53 miles to deliver his baby. Thats good news for me, definitely a good Ducati experience.

I've had friends and my own "other" bikes that have had issues from new, and none of the dealers would have picked up the bikes or dropped them off etc. So cool.

are you serious? they drove all the way to colorado springs to pick it up and back to dealership and came back after the repairs? thats like 106 miles!! its about 2 hours from here though, so its not that bad.....
