in for Bane in the next movie


did anyone hear the Joker laugh at the end of the credits? maybe it was someone in the audience

thats what i thought too,but this makes sense and certainly fits the image they had us believe the movie would be like

I had a suspicion that The Joker was deceiving the passengers. If they set the bomb off, it would actually set the bomb off on their own boat.

can anyone get me a shot of harvey dent in the last scene where half his face is covered by shadows?

Haven't seen the movie yet but they set it up so Harvey dent (2-face) is the next villain plus another one (riddler or blackmask or catwoman)

These are the only things I disagree with. Harvey dent is the city's white knight.. but in the ending monologue he describes batman as the city's dark knight because he can take the soiled name and everyone hating him (at least for a while). He's not the hero the city needs, he's the hero the city deserves.

If they found out about his murder and put him away, then Dent couldn't be "hero that the city needs" anymore, his name would be soiled and the figurehead of that ability to do good without killing and violence would be gone. There's a reason they hide dent's dark side from the public.

If they hadn't ended it the way they had, then the only hero the city has left is batman, which is great except for the fact that they're left with the thought that the only way to beat the crime is vigilante justice and violence; much like the guys at the beginning wearing hockey pads.


I could be wrong, but with the character build up of two face/harvey that's the only ending they could've had with the undertone of the movie that they set.

Bane is an early villian, breaks his batmans back, gotham celebrates. While in recovery, Penguin rises to power in gotham with two-face's help. Batman heals. Somehow Penguin becomes tarred in public opinion, and Bale has to get rid of Two-face, penguin,and bane.

Joker said Dent was at 250 52nd street or whatever, and Rachel was at avenue X...

Batman says he's going after rachel.

Batman even has a wtf face for a split second when he shows up and its dent instead of rachel

later in the movie when Two-Face has Ramirez tell Gordon's family to meet somewhere, he says 250 52nd street.... and that's where he was holding Gordon's family

also, i loved how IMO the movie's focus wasn't on batman as it was the entire story and all the characters involved.

the development and roles of joker > dent > batman in terms of memorable in my opinion.
