They hinted at catwoman making an appearance.

They also hinted that the joker knows who batman is and that's why he switched rachel and harvey up. He knew that batman/bruce would go after rachel. why could the cops not save rachel? probably because there wasn't enough time for even batman to save her. she might not have even been in the building.
