Don't jump the gun, though, i have my reasons. The police once came to my brothers flat because they 'suspected' he was up to something (They had no grounds to suspect him of anything). That day my dad was visiting him so he was there at the time it happened.

Anyway, they searched the house and even under his pillow and they took his packet of cigarettes from him, checking for drugs. Then the second officer came and not knowing that the first one already checked his bedroom, he lifts the pillow and lo and behold! A packet of Malborough cigarettes with a bag of weed in it. My brother only smokes B&H so where the hell did that come from? He had this smug look on his face and was like "Ah-HA! What do we have here?". The other officer was embarassed as hell and shook his head at the one with the 'evidence', telling him that he already checked under there and he was holding my brothers *real* packet of cigarettes.

So with this information in mind- How many of the black young men in prison were actually set up and which ones were real criminals?

Not all police are, i am related to a police officer who isn't at all like that. Many do let the authority go to their heads though and are very patronising, hypocritical and nasty people. Not all ! I have encountered some like that and i'm an intelligent, law abiding, educated citezen who has never been in trouble or comitted a crime, there is just no need for their tone sometimes, they antagonise the situation! I appreciiate the job though, imagine if we didn't have them it would be 10 times worse!

Black men, and all men, in jail are in there for a valid reason. And I have no sympathy for them.

Because they have power and they abuse it. Cops are useless. If someone bothers you you have the right to phuck them up. Cops just waste time.

Because they can be. And these things don't just happen to blacks. When you realize that we might be able to make some progress.
