Once a cheater, always a cheater?

Have you ever been in a relationship where the person cheated once and never cheated again {to your knowledge}?

I think it is possible for a person to cheat once and never again. But if you've seen Maury Povich people cheat multiple times and can't seem to stop.

But there is the person that cheated once and turns themselves around and never cheats again and they renew their marriage.
 
I guess people can change but I wouldnt count on it, that is, I wouldnt bet my emotions on someone who has cheated on me before. Besides, once that trust and loyalty is broken, it's really over.
