Culture Question. Why do Filipinas describe themselves as SIMPLE.?

Help me out pinoys! I have been chatting online with some filipinas. On their profile many of them describe themselves as simple. "I am a simple girl" "just simple". Trying to get them to explain further is like pulling teeth. What do they mean by simple.

simple means....they can SIMPLY siphon the contents of youre wallet,, its much better to stay away from filipinas, much better to choose from other race.
 
simple means they dress casually with little make-up and they don't have expensive taste (caviar is not their thing). but more important is that it means it doesn't take fancy stuff to win their friendship and love.
 
Their english vocabulary may be limilted so the best way to tell you that they're not complicated and sophisticated,highly complex,high maintenance,confused,strange and etc. They just tell you that they're just simple. I believe that is what they mean. They're understanding.
