I recently saw Dangerous Liaisons for the first time. I'm so amazed at how alike these two movies are considering this one's updated :nod:
 
Couldn't agree more, i think the music is what makes the movie so great, it works well with the story.

One of my definite favorites :nod:
 
I love Sebastian and Annette was sad that he died. For those of view who don't buy Sebastian redemtion you have to understand that this movie was taken from the old story Dangerous Liaison where the cad in every version would die when coming to the moment of redemption. The reason the guy dies is because apparently he has to be punished because of his immoral behavior and that is what the movie followed. We watched this movie in of my college classes
 
Just rewatched it, my all time favourite movie :love: So depressing though ... Sebastian :bawl:

I remember liking it in the 6th grade... :lol: I never told anyone though, because.. well, yeah. Not exactly an appropriate movie for a 12-year-old. :lol: But I'm 21 now so it's whatever. I effing love this movie. :P

Well, I liked the first movie only too. The others bombed. I basically liked Ryan and Sarah's chemistry in the movie and the ending totally ruined it for me. Somehow, I just cant buy that someone like Sebastian could redeem so easily considering that he spent much more time with a b**** like Kathryn than Anette. It was just too..........typical and mushy. He should have stayed a bad boy. It would have been more fun ;)
 
I didn't realize that it was her until I saw it recently and I was like "Lily!!!... without an eyepatch" :lol:
 
I love the part where they are in the car...and reese is making faces...to make sebastian laugh...It's so cute...:D
 
Wow didn't expect to see this thread!

I really liked this movie when it came out. I always thought Ryan Phillipe was so cute back then.
 
can we say hot. :sigh: Ryan was brilliant. I just loved Sarah and Reese was beautiful. Selma had spark and i loved the others. One of the best movies. I have watched over 100 times and each time it's still great. :blush:
 
I just watched this recently. It's been coming on HBO for a few days. Encore has also been airing Valmont. It's interesting to watch those two movies back to back and compare them a little bit.
 
I love this movie. Reese was amazing in it, and I enjoyed her chemistry with Ryan.
