Cricket WAP Info get in here!!

These settings have been updated since the original post.

Using "cricketwap" as the user name now gives a message to call *611 for wireless internet services.

I need to re-program my KRZR: Any current Cricket RAZR/KRZR/SLVR owners with mobile web care to post screenshots of their current settings?

Greatly appreciated. :clapping:
LOTS of garbage in my SID/NID pairs 2-5 (PST showing a couple of invalid values even), and my True IMSI was all zeros.
I guess I'll be pouring over flexes for other Cricket phones to see if I can get this all straightened out.
Thanks again!

can anyone point me in right direction as to where i might be able to find software, cables and hardware to flash phones to cricket?
thank you in advance.

this guy pm'ed me the exact same question...exactly the same!!!!!

that's what i don't get...the info is already posted, he is too lazy to search and read for it, he does one thing right and posts his question here, and then he does the durab arss thing of pm'ing it to however many people he decided to copy and paste it to...

even if they are asking in the right place, it seeems that they should at least say what they have read and tried before they are freely given a bottle and allowed to suck it's rubbery little nipple...

if the info is there, and they just didn't happen to find it after looking, i want to see what they learned as they were searching and reading along the way so i know that they are not mooches...

anywho- just my take...my pm box stays a little full and i'd like to see these guys learn how to be a little self-suficient...

sorry if i sound like a hard-arss, but there are just way too many questions pouring into some of our inboxes...

it seems you can't help someone in a thread without someone going to the same thread, with the same queston, and then messaging you because they see that you have the answer and they don't want to read and try to do it...

333333 is a service provisioning code. it will only give you access to change mdn, mid, etc... the subsidy code is specific to the esn (i think), this code will let you access, change and break a lot more things. mine starts with a 9 but i can't remeraber the rest of it. haven't gotten around to getting the info for you guys yet, but it's on my list of things to do.

Okay, here's the deal: I entered those settings from the original post and the furthest I can get is a Network Unavailable message. I am only able to get that message, however, after manually CHANGING the settings myself and entering my current MIN and other info in there.

I copied the Motorola PST parameters from a native Cricket KRZR. The problem was that the customer I copied them from didn't have mobile web. In fact, her settings look identical to the ones in this post. Using those files I get a call *611 message until I modify them myself manually.

If you have those settings and mobile web is working for you, could you please post them! If I'm wrong, fine--I just want someone with a Cricket Motorola phone to confirm their settings.

I would appreciate anyone who could come through on this for me. Thanks.

:^/ If you can make and receive calls and text messages, then you're on Cricket. The Internet will take a bit more, though. You'll need to configure a network setting for the phone to use, and configure your browser to use your new setting.

At the top of page eight, Berry_Ithird has quoted a write-up I did with details for getting the Palm Tr

I saved and zipped all the above SEEMs for you to download. A few notes on the above:
SEEM 678: I edited this at some time with a personal email address so it would send pix msg to myself. I don't have the original data but I do know it did not work.
SEEM 681: the %M is a variable that stanRAB for your MIN (phone#). That way the file is the same on all cricKet phones.
SEEM 68A and 68B: Both are blank
SEEM 695: The file listed in the SEEM does not exist in my phones file system
SEEM 69A: The byte count is actually 78, with 80 the SEEM would not load. Also it does not contain a graphic or pointer to one. Looks more like a MIME type or something like that.
BTW Good work on finding and IDing these SEEMs. I will add them to my evergrowing list. You might want to post your finRAB in the CDMA Motorola forum. There are a couple threaRAB there dealing with making a master list of all known SEEMS

i am searching, but i dont know how to do it...i dont want to get locked...but i really want internet and mms to work on the touch...i never had a pda b4...so i dont know how to setup the settings at all and i really sux at doing it... i wish i could.....but m still searching...

OK! More digging in the file system last night and found that the nvm/seem/syn_device file (that I've seen so far, probably others) still references Verizon servers and settings. I'm going blind trying to find stuff in the wide character format.

Looks like a similar thread here: HOFO thread - Cricket Files,Info

Are the files in nvm/seem actual seems that can be edited through P2Kseem or will I have to try to edit/replace the file through BitPim?
OOPS! Google is your friend - another thread here answers that: HOFO thread - Alltel to Verizon

Soooo.... time to find the correct seems for the V170. Then I'll have to see if I can find the same from a Cricket V265 (possibly also a T720) to find the correct values to pop in.

First I need to sit down and learn how to backup the entire phone - I don't want to brick this one.

:silly: Are we having fun yet?
