Cricket WAP Info get in here!!

I don't have an actual CricKet v262 but I have tried downoading seems before and there doesn't seem to be any program for doing it because none of them recognize the phone. This is off topic and I appologize but are you aware of a program that can read/write seems to the v262?

people are pming because no one wants to get a warning from the Moderator. As far as re-asking a question, sifting through the Ahole responses, people get lost in the BS like yours and/or the question never gets answered. How about contribute or start another thread called Ahole Responses. Learned my lesson, not to post questions unanswered

You are getting the hang of it. Searching does wonders for understanding stuff. The way I backed up my phone is using PST I created a new empty file of each type and then click read phone to fill the file with the data in the phone. If a file is incompatable with the phone it will let you know. Then just save the file as your backup and now you can edit the info as needed and write the edited data back to the phone. If it screws up the phone you can easily write the backup file to the phone to return to where you started and try something else. Simple learning from trial and error. It's alot harder to make a paperweight out of a Moto phone than that damn Audiovox 8910 to ease your mind. Even if the phone is completely hosed it can still be flashed, flexed, accessed with it only charging. I wasted my 8910 with only a bad PRL file. Now it can't even be accessed or booted. Oh, one more thing great about Moto phones... SEEMs... are awsome! Simple way to edit everything in the phone on a binary level. I make a backup of every SEEM I've read from the phone, (great program for CDMA Moto's is P2Kseem4V710) that way I can go back to where I started if I change a SEEM and it does not work out. All you need to know is right here on Howard Forums and you are very much on the right track. Happy hacking.

Also the files in the NVM folder are altered thru SEEM's and with the files in PST. You can edit those files directly with no problem, but the NVM folder is locked and files can't be deleted or copied over so stick to SEEM edits for that. BITPIM is good for other files in nonlocked folders. Search here for Mark Venture's site. It has everthing for the V710 and then some.

actually i just took a look at them and mine are exactly the same as what you've posted(except that mine shows the password as *******)

yes sir, i sure can...

navigate to the top right area of this page and click on the button titled "Search"

you can also navigate to the address bar and enter the URL, "www.google.com"

It is called P2KSEEM4V710 and it is just for CDMA Motorola phones. One requirement is you have to be running Motorola PST or Motorola Software Update at the same time to switch the driver from modem mode to P2K mode. You can read or write SEEMs only in P2K mode. Search the CDMA Motorola forum, where and how to get the software and how-to stuff is all there. All the tools for GSM Motorola phones don't work with our CDMA phones but this program does, and quite well I may add.

the writeup was done by mr. psudonym...he completed successfull evdo with a little help from his buddy, me...

use your search button to find the thread...

i will be posting the files that give you evdo without having to do anything complicated in a few days...

enjoy.

Hi I have a Sanyo SCP 3100 phone from Sprint that hasn't been flashed to Cricket, but I loaded the cricket 1040 prl on, called customer service, had them do an esn swap, activated the phone via *228. I can make & receive calls, send & receive text messages on, and now I am wondering if I need to have it flashed in order for the internet to work on it. I told the customer service rep that the phone hasn't been flashed to Cricket, and that I just loaded the prl and he said that I'd have to enter the settings in manually. Can someone please help me? OR would having it flashed make the process more simpler? Oh yeah he said that the phones don't necessarily have to be flashed , they just have to be a CDMA phone with the correct prl loaded on to it. He also said that he wasn't familiar with my phone or he would try to help me. Please help

;^) I've gotten and loaded the 1050 PRL. If I use Java-enabled Opera Mini beta 4.1, my connection speed sometimes surpasses our desktop's RABL at home. The tower icon will switch to the EVDO one.

:^( However, it isn't consistant. The EVDO connection cannot be used by the phone's built-in browser, Blazer, nor by any other built-in software.

:^/ Something still neeRAB to be tweaked somewhere....

Ok I posted earlier back that I flashed my E816 from Amp'd to the Alltel E815 and stated that the wap & mms were working perfectly, I ran into some trouble. The wap is still working great, but the mms is having problems. I can send MMS but when I receive a mms and try to download it says " unable to download ". Anyone have any suggestions on what I need to do. I now own a ppc 6700 that I purchased, and my brother is using the Motorola E815 I changed all the nurabers from my nuraber to my brothers phone nuraber @mycricket.com, like I said he can send mms, browse the web, but can't download mms

if you weren't a noob that just joined this month and didn't already have the problem of being corrected for your laziness, then i might put some merit in what you say...

noobs being lazy and not searching and reading is why they don't find what they are looking for...

it is much easier for them to hang on other's bawls...

i'm sorry if you are one of those noobs, and my comment offended you...

actually, i'm not sorry at all...search and read!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
