Cricket WAP Info get in here!!

what he and i meant (look where i told you to read) is that if we spoon feed you guys the answers, then you will never go and find them where we have posted them before...i have posted the same thing for you numerous times...
also- you started a new thread asking for something that is already freely available to you and that samsung415 worked very hard on and happily posted for your use...if you want to continue to get help here, then you'll need to do little work on your own, show that you are a little competent, and help a few othes out as well...

enjoy your stay on my personal blacklist until you prove yourself...

you are the weakest link...goodbye

oh no, that's all good...

i told the guy that he can't get wap/mms, and he come back asking about imputing settings...

well, if he doubts, then he should attmept on his own and that way he can draw his own conclusions...

my point was, "why ask if you are not going to accept the answer you are given?"

you're all good healthman

I've been trying to find all the seems for the nvm files that need to be changed on my "spare" V710 (manually - a long, drawn out process). I've had too many irons in the fire to get very far (tree on the house, then my car got broad-sided, what next?) but I've found quite a few in the last few days.

Here's what I've found so far, and I need someone with an actual Cricket v262/265 to read and save off their seems so I can compare them with what I've got (lots of verizon settings hiding in the background that PST will not see or change).

All I did was ask a question, as far as me asking questions on here, isn't that what forums are for, asking questions to more than just one meraber? And as far as me not accepting the answer I was given, I wasm't saying that I didn't accept it, I just asked again to see if maybe someone else might read this thread and might of figured something out. Didn't have to get all uptight about it. And for your information I have been playing around with the settings in the phone, heck a guy from a full service cricket store and a cricket technical support rep has even given me suggestions on things to try and do. So you can't say that I'm not willing to try and figure this out on my own, I just thought maybe if I came to this forum I could get some help, since it was recommended to me by a bunch of people.

Ok I decided to dump the Sanyo SCP 3100 and bought a Motorola E816 that was originally used on Amp'd Mobile. I didn't have to change anything, I just dialed *22804 and it sent me to the cricket activation, ( which failed of course, because I didn't call cricket to swap the esn). Once I called they put the esn in their system, refreshed my data, I called *228 activated the phone, without having to change anything. Now here comes the trouble, I went to web browser hit launch and it said" for internet service dial *611" I did and Cricket refreshed my data again. I tried again no luck, entered ##browser and it took me to web sessions, I created a web session called Cricket and I entered the settings from Page 1 of this thread and I still didn't have any luck, All it shows when I edit the Cricket web session is
Gateway IP 1:
Gateway 1
Gateway IP 2:
Gateway 1

will this phone work without doing a full flash? Or do I have to obtain a flash/flex file for this phone? Is one available for this phone? Also I searched and searched for any help on getting the SPC code for this phone so I could get into more settings to see if there is stuff missing for the web session that I need to enter. I tried connection to RSD Lite, PST7.2.3, phone tools and I get no luck. Anyone know of any drivers for this specific phone model? Your help would be appreciated. Thanks

has anyone been successful in making the web work on their non cricket phone with the provided info?

I have problem with cricket wap on 700wx VRZ. I put Simple IP only, I put cricket wap like Moto Q way. When I turn phone to offline mode or turn off, after this my wap is going Broadband access VRZ. Then i need to do hard reset :( to get cricket wap back.

I have an HTC Vogue and I've been trying for days to get internet working... I have gone through and changed all the wap settings, but everytime I try and load the internet it asks for my username and password... I type them in but it still says username and password is wrong... so I go back to settings/advanced/select networks its back on sprint... no mater how many times I try and change it to cricket it reverts back to sprint. and it wont let me delete the sprint settings or change them to cricket wap... any suggesstions

the very first step is to have your account refreshed...this is often the issue when a new phone is activated...

if you have your account refreshed AND you have verified that all of your settings are entered correctly, then...

try this alternate method:

1. Create a new service connection...
Hit menu, select New, and fill in:
Service: Cricket
Connection: Virtual Modem
User Name: [email protected]
Password: cricket
Phone: #777

2. Click on [Details]: uncheck Mobile IP
Click on [Advanced], Click on [Script]
Enter the following script:
Send: at$qcmdr=3
Send CR:
Send: at$qcqnc=0
Send CR:
End:

3. Click [OK], then [OK]

if this method doesn't work, then you'll have to update your firm...

Yep, from the phone. Sorry, should have specified. This phone has about half the settings still set for VZW, i.e.: The MMS profile URL had been set but all names were still VZW. PM me if needed.

Thanks

cricket's wap is not supposed to be able to access anything outside of the portal(currently). when i try to enter a url outside the portal i get the same message (403 forbidden). try to access www.google.com that site should work. but i think wap might be down right now or something, cause i can't access anything currently(cannot resolve hostname).

when i get home tonight i will get the wap settings for you guys. i just can't remeraber my subsidy code off the top of my head or i'd give it now.

edit: the wap portal homepage can be accessed at http://wap.cricket.motricity.com/portal/home
