Cricket WAP Info get in here!!

That is the answer I was looking for. Where would be the best place to start looking for information? Is there a link to a post that would walk me through the process of configuring my Nokia to access http://www.google.com/reader while using Cricket's service? I'll start by checking Google on Monday when I get to the office.

im pretty sure that some people have tried putting in the settings but i think it still wouldnt work. supposivily there is something different
 
I tried these settings but was still getting connect errors. I'll get into again tomorrow night and try to provide the exact error. I know when I did it on the Alltel firmware, it said to dial *611 to order the service. The error was different on the Verizon, though. Again, I'll try it again tomorrow night and provide the exact error. I saved the .rtb and .brw so it won't take long to get back to you. For now, I have the Cricket firmware on there and internet works. Any ideas I might could try to get it to work on Verizon?
 
so i read that only ceritin phones from sprint work on cricket wap....can the touch work?...do i just create a new proxy server and enter in the wap settings...what would be the domain.....?
 
i posted in your 755 tut thread...check that out...i'm telling you tha it's a password in the files that neeRAB to be "cricket" to authenticate...

after i get a 755 i will destroy it figuring out the evdo settings.
 
there are no more walls to the garden... it's more like a small hedge that you can easily hop over. however i believe what they are referring to is that the 6275i is not EVDO... which is the slow speeRAB they are talking about.
 
Yeah, Im using the same phone with alltel software and not able to use MMS or WAP. The cricket firmware worked just fine though. I just wanted to use the transflash card. Any ideas for the Alltel firmware?
 
Im still Trying To Figure out how to setup this phone to work with WAP and MMS on Cricket Service. Has anyone gotten the settings for this phone to work if yes can anyone message me and let me know what the settings are.

Can someone help me with the prog of my Nokia 5170i, so I don't mess it up and look like a real moron... lol.. Would truely and greatly appreciate it alot.
 
:lolup: that's hilarious! In that case I plan to buy the HTC PPC 6800 Mogul from wirelessgalaxy.com unless there is a reason why I shouldn't. I found some documentation that I have bookmarked on my home laptop walking me through the process of flashing and configuring it. Thanks again for all your help!
