Hey all...
well im thinking to get hooked up with cricket services. the more i look into all the unlimited services they offer the more im getting interested. i guess the only thing that is stopping me right now is paying full price for a phone to get there service. as of right now im a verizon customer, with 2 phones and a family plan. i have heard and seen on here i can flash my verizon phones to crickets software, then just get there service started. so... i need to know if i can flash and use my 2 phones with cricket. i have verizons lg 9900 enV, and a samsung a930. any info will be helpfull. thx in advance!

getting voice calls and texting to work will not be a problem, but for data services, people are just now figuring out how to get phones working on this, and so far the only reported success has been on windows mobile and palm pda. So, for now at least, i would not count on having MMS, Browsing, or BREW downloaRAB on the phones.

well I got the $50 package, dialed *228 and upgrade everything. then did the paramtable thing and I still get the "network unavailable. retry later". I am truely at my wits end. I have been all over the net to see if any1 has truely been able to use the internet on their lg vx 9900 env using cricket, and have found no one. As long as some1 comes on this post and says no and stop asking, Im gonna be going nuts. if it is possible just reply it is and for me to do more research, I will. even though I have read everything on this site and cellphonehack site, I just dont know where else to research.
again, my situation: I have the enV and had it flashed and I am currently using it on Cricket, I just cant seem to get into the internet and picture messaging. I get errors for the pic messaging "message receipt failed". please help. I'll neverask another question, just help this 1 time. A link or something.

im in the same boat as you are except i have not gone to cricket yet, due to not being able to what we want done with our phones. i have also done a huge search across the net to find out if the env verizon phone can do what a store bought cricket phone can do, as far as software, etc... maybe some awesome hacker will find this out.... or a cricket employee will leak some info on this.

we can only dream, I am willing to pay some1 to make our phones work (picture messages and internet) for some reason now I dont get any music through my earphones. I hear beeps when i push buttons, but when playing music it just plays through the phone not the head phones. any ideas? any 1? did i mess with the wrong settings? help

well guys... the wife and i decided to go with cricket. we just cant pass up all the services they offer. we are having a really hard time deciding on what phones to get, since im no longer going to flash our old verizon phones over. my wife loves to txt message, im more in camera and vid sending. i would like as much input on what phones we should get. thx in advance.

Well since your wife is a big texter you can use any CDMA phone for her on cricket. Unless she wants internet and pix mess. (you have to have a cricket phone for that or a treo or xv6700). For you i recommend the xv6700 for cricket, everyone here has worked hard and we have internet and MMS working on it, and it is a killer phone. You can get them off ebay used, just make sure to get a xv6700 by verizon so you dont have to deal with unlocking yours like i did (took me a badutahboy over 2 hours to get it). Hope I helped. ALSO! There is no way of having a LG enV and the cricket WAP and MMS working on it. No one has figured it out yet, but we are working on it, I have a enV that im working on so hopefully soon.

I also would appreciate help on how to flash my phone so it can be used with cricket. Apparently, I have an actual cricket phone that was flashed to use with Sprint, so now it no longer works with cricket and they couldn't get it to activate.

Help? :(

dang u guys are gonna make me wanna wait... lol

the wife and i are leaning toward the Nokia 6265i. look like a great phone. anyone have a personal review on it? thx again guys!
