Cricket...Maybe....

Please believe me, I've been reading for days on this. And can't really find the help I need. I Have the LG VX9900 enV and I got it flashed and went to cricket. I got my phone hooked up and it is running fine. Ony thing is I am trying to get the WAP for free. I have tried with no luck to do this. I have downloaded the paramtable thing for the 9900 and have followed every step. and I get a message that reaRAB "network unavailable. retry later", could it be saying that cuz all I have on my phone is the unlimited calls and text. Do I need the full $50 package? Please dont blow me off, I really have been reading and just cant find anything on THIS subject. On WAPPING yes, on cricket yes, on 9900 yes, on all three things no. PLEASE help.

Yes, you need the $50 package. If you don't have it, you do not have a username and password for WAP access, which is why the system is rejecting you.

Edit: to reword, because my post wasn't very clear:

Your phone has to authenticate with the server. It does so by sending your username ([email protected]) and password (cricket). If you do not have it enabled on your account, the system will see that as an invalid username.

I believe your username is also tied to your ESN, so you couldn't enable wap on one phone, but use the same username and password on multiple phones.

i "heard the nokia 6265i uses shared memory for pics and video, is this true? im also wondering if the memory is shared for everything???

unless you put a memory card in it yes. All cricket phones used shared memory, unless they have an expansion slot like the 6265, slvr or remix.

again sorry for this. I read all day about people asking questions that have been answered 100 times in the same thread. But what ur saying is I upgrade to the $50 plan, then do the wap paramtable thing and I'll be up and running? remeraber this was a verizon phone and is now cricket. just making sure, cuz all day I read that u cant use the internet and pic messaging, with a flashed phone from verizon to cricket. again so very much thank u for responding. this site is truely helpfull.
