the 7026 had OTA issues because the subsidy lock file was not loaded until a few days after the phones shipped. the u340 had mms issues but was continued to be sold despite knowledge of the problem. the firmware has been fixed and that does not explain the extended delay on them (there was no need for new hardware). the only phone i know of that actually has an issue causing delay is the r610 samsung which is having a vendor issue with the vendor of the lcd (that is my understanding) everything else is apparantly crickets inability to accurately predict the market or it is a sign of financial struggle of some sort. there is absolutely no way that you should run out of 11/12 models you carry during what is traditionally your strongest quarter when you have 6 different manufacting partners it just doesnt make sense. i get running out of one or two, i get a vendor issue with another one or two, but that is still nowhere near the 11 out of stock models, not to mention running out of K323, siren, RAZR (v3c) and KRZR (K1m) a lot quicker than expected. the situation stinks of something bad, i just can't figure out what it is yet. and i hope it's not too late when i do.
