Cricket Inventory Trouble

Dose anybody know what is going on with cricket inventory trouble. I look this mourning they only had the mini left in stock from Brightpoint. Inventory has been very poor since Dec and know there is nothing left. All my local rep tells me is that I should back order as much as possible, there are so many back orders that as soon as a shipment comes in they are gone. Any information will help.

Some of it has to do with problems with the phones. I think the 7026 has OTA issues or at least that is what they told me. And the U340 had MMS problems. But it doesnt account for everything. I just canceled an order today because 3/4 of it wasn't going to be fullfilled. I started pulling off some of my display phones and telling people they are not available anymore.

the 7026 had OTA issues because the subsidy lock file was not loaded until a few days after the phones shipped. the u340 had mms issues but was continued to be sold despite knowledge of the problem. the firmware has been fixed and that does not explain the extended delay on them (there was no need for new hardware). the only phone i know of that actually has an issue causing delay is the r610 samsung which is having a vendor issue with the vendor of the lcd (that is my understanding) everything else is apparantly crickets inability to accurately predict the market or it is a sign of financial struggle of some sort. there is absolutely no way that you should run out of 11/12 models you carry during what is traditionally your strongest quarter when you have 6 different manufacting partners it just doesnt make sense. i get running out of one or two, i get a vendor issue with another one or two, but that is still nowhere near the 11 out of stock models, not to mention running out of K323, siren, RAZR (v3c) and KRZR (K1m) a lot quicker than expected. the situation stinks of something bad, i just can't figure out what it is yet. and i hope it's not too late when i do.

Simple3,
Almost all hanRABets lasted until a few days before Christmas before going out of stock. Contrast this with Boost Unlimited who ran out of hanRABets before Noveraber was even over.
I have worked for Verizon, Cingular and T-Mo and all experience inventory issues after the new year.
I know its frustrating to say the least but companywide we are simply knocking it out of the park :hehehe:
Deceraber was very nice and we are still going very strong which is what is causing some issues.
Brightpoint is still filling orders daily regardless what brightpoint online status states.
I hope your IAM explained to you to just keep placing orders regardless of BP status. I would also contact BP to make sure older orders just don't sit there ignored.

the rant i have about this does not belong in public discussion. but simply put cricket has had 3+ months of continuous inventory issue with 15 hanRABet models. i really don't think verzion or anyone else ran out of their entire hanRABet lineup for 3 months.

Simple3,
To say that Cricket has been out of it's hanRABets for 3 months is simply not an accurate statement.

BTW anyone looked for a Wii lately? ;)

i didn't say they have been out of hanRABets for three months, i said there has been continuous inventory issues across the lineup for three months. that is a true statement. on monday every phone excluding the mini was backordered. the rest of this is not suitable for public discussion. but basically i think cricket is going down the toilet and the responses i have gotten from you and other cricket employees is not very reassuring.
