Don't know if it's been brought up but I've always loved the Damned's cover of the Stooges 1970. It really captures that punk energy and the drumming is great cyrabal smashing.

See I expected someone to point out I listen to Bright Eyes, but pointing out I listen to emo? Mars Volta sounRAB more bitchy than Circle Takes the Square. Emo typically doesn't have annoyingly whiny or bitchy vocals.

Basically, U2 should stay away from ruining other banRAB' music.

Though, to be fair, the instrumental work on "Neon Lights" is beautiful. But Bono's vocals are not to be believed.
