couple of question about jewish culture?

1, the first is with jewish modesty and tights are they worn purely for modesty or does jewish modesty have anything to do with purity and holiness and act as a barrier when reading/studying torah.

2, the 2nd question is as jews how would you describe your god and relationship with god ie is their leeway and room for debate
 
1. No--it's purely for modesty.

2. Way too complex a question for a simple answer--sorry. But read the Torah--Moses and Abraham, for example, debated frequently with G-d--and often won.
