Countdown - so much better these days!

My Aunt has been to see the new line up 3 times now, and the maths doesn't always get done correctly on the first take !
Have you noticed how she shakes her hand before putting the numbers up. I think that the new set does not let them get close enough to the contestants.

I don't think it is as good as it once was. Jeff seems to be looking down all the time, and Rachel looks at the camera, not the contestants
 
Yes, I thought it was easy as well, but I've missed other easy ones before now by going down the wrong track to start with. At least it proves Rachel isn't connected up to someone giving her solutions!
 
I must have missed that nuance from PH which might have raised him in my estimation if I'd noticed it - mind you, a smugface getting at another smugface is perhaps not so surprising. But at least we agree about Smirk. If you need to dislike him more, go to the C4Countdown site and read his contributions and those of those who worship him (i.e. every other contributor).
 
I couldnt believe they bleeped out that word.Surely the word that begins with W and rhymes with bankers wasnt censored a while back and i would say that was more likely to offend
 
Well, I've refused to watch it since Des and Carole departed :mad: They practically made the show.. they owned the screen.. they were the hallmark! :eek:
 
You're kidding right? Dreary O'Connor was the worst presenter they've had on there and who was Carole? If you're such a fan and not a troll I'm surprised you don't know it is Carol.:rolleyes:
 
I don't mind Dr Phil, he's been quite good when he's been on the show before, although I didn't realise he was a comedian aswell as a doc...

Tim Vine is back on w/c 28th June, I was in the audience for the Monday & Tuesday episodes and he was on top form as ever, even Jeff was giving him a run for his money. :cool:
