Could I please have an in-depth, educated answer?

Frankly, I'm terrified.

I've been on Apri (a form of birth control) since December 13th. At first, my boyfriend still wore condoms and pulled out. Eventually we stopped using condoms.

About a week ago I started to let him *** in me (my doctor led me to believe that this was okay and that most people do this while on birth control, though I know it was a bad decision).

Any way, I started taking amoxicillin for bronchitis about six days ago. My period came after he had started cumming in me, and we had sex on my period in which he came in me.

I am aware that certain antibiotics can lessen the effects of birth control. He's came in me about four times since I've been on the amoxicillin.

I've never missed a birth control pill until today (I left them in his car), and I still have a few more doses of amoxicillin to take.

I'm screwed, aren't I?

My boyfriend and I are both adults, this would just be an inconvenient time to become pregnant--I'm starting college in the fall, and he isn't very well off financially.

So...what are the chances that I could become pregnant?

High, I assume.
He came in me last night. I have no way of obtaining a morning after pill.

It'd be different if I were only a year or two older and had completed college, or was at least half way done with college. Or if he was better off financially.

Of course, if I am pregnant I'll do what needs to be done. I just don't want to bring a child into the world when we're both so unprepared. That's why I'm worried; I don't want to be selfish and force a child to live a bad life.
Well, I plan on going to college even if I am pregnant. It'll be hard, but not impossible.

Like I said, my main concern is being a little young (I'm 18 and a half, he's almost 21.) And financial issues. That's the only reason I'm upset.

If we were a little older and better off financially, I'd be fine with all of this.

Try not to panic too much right away. It's possible that you could be pregnant... The antibiotics make the birth control pills less effective, yes, but it doesn't necessarily guarantee you'll get pregnant.

Keep taking your birth control pills and the amoxicillin, and start using condoms again, just for the time being, okay? If your period is late or different, take a pregnancy test.

It is wise to use condoms for the month that you are on antibiotics. However, there are more things to consider as to whether you could become pregnant. Women normally only become pregnant when they are ovulating. I believe that normally falls between the 13th and 17th day of your cycle? (I'm not completely sure, you may want to look farther into that.)

Also, some people try for a really long time and have sex constantly during ovulation, and don't become pregnant. My boyfriend and I were having unprotected sex for six months before we finally got pregnant. I had started thinking that I couldn't get pregnant, or that he was sterile. Some people try for even longer. You hear all these stories about people getting pregnant the one time they don't use a condom, and it really doesn't always happen like that. It's not so easy to get pregnant as everyone makes it out to be.

However, I would start using condoms until you have stopped the antibiotics and started a new month of birth control. And take a test if you miss your next period.

And it is possible to get pregnant on your period, but it is very very very unlikely.

Having sex during period is the safest time not to get pregnant, especially if you were on the pill. I was actually told by a nurse that you cant get pregnant during period, but I would still be concerned. You probably arent pregnant, especially if you have been taking bc pills for a while. But, DO NOT let him ejaculate inside of you anymore. You just might have got lucky this time.
