I decided to cook a big dinner after not cooking for people for almost a year. It ended up being a horrible experience almost immediately.
I cooked for my boyfriend and his family (parents). I made some curry chicken (with precooked chicken and beef since the store actually didn't have any raw meats). So that was already bad from the beginning.
THEN I overcooked the rice, undercooked the potatos for a potato salad, made the curry to watery, etc. I am a firm believer in not making people eat bad food, but my boyfriend was like, "no, feed it to them. it's not bad." but he was totally trying to keep a straight face. I am SO embarassed because I used to cook so well.
Do you think I am overreacting or should I throw the food away now before any of them actually start eating it?
Thanks.
