I need to find 2 pieces that show the contemporary American Culture within the past 10 years. I chose my topic as war, since that is what has been part of our society for the last decade and I want to show how we unite as a nation. The problem is, I can't use documentary photos, it can be photographs, etc. but it shouldn't document an event.
Example, I was going to use the twin towers with the firemen raising the flag, but it's obviously documentary.. Any ideas?
