I have to do this essay about how culture and conflict are connected? So is there a current conflict going on that culture may be playing a role in? Or is there a conflict that may happen due to culture? Please help!! I'll take anything! Even a link would be amazing! Thanks in advance!

Current wars in the middle east. Clash of two very different cultures with predominantly different political and religious views. Ft. Hood massacre is another example. Maj. Hassan's muslim descent has cause more conflict with Americans of islamic faith.
 
'War on Terror'
this term is no longer used because it is (culturally) offensive to invade a country and call the entire culture one of terror.
The whole current middle east conflict (all of them in fact) are related to culture.

Arabian vrs European intrests throughout the Middle East
Yemmeni vrs Saudi
Extremists vrs Real Muslims (in Pakistan)
