Community Thread / Tips and Questions

ms: i liked the show, but his voice... ahh live, it is just the same monotonusness. I didnt enjoy it and we left before the set was done (frienRAB idea). The guitarist put on an amazing show and jumped off the amps and such, it was awesome, but the vocalist just kinda walked around and screamed and then called the crowd names. Eh. I would prefer someone for DEP's vocals to have a wider range, like the band does.

Dead thread. Quick! start a disscussion!

and pixies: guitar's next on the list, I just happened to be able to get hold of a cheap bass. And I haven't really learnt anything, just stuff from a book i was given.

*Wants crit so decides to suck up*

I've read some of your previous stuff and it seems pretty darn good (ok that wasn't a suck up really). Any idea whether you'll be returning to writing soon?

Hey guys - am trying to become more of a regular in here, so I thought I'd come and say hello in the community thread. So, hey :thumb:

Back on topic - Sci Fi not something I've ever been able to get into, which has always seemed a shame, cos so many people love it.

I quit work = don't have to sleep normal = i don't sleep normal.

I driving to France tomorrow, it's going to cause more havoc with the sleep, i can't wait.

It's ok, I still don't like real emo either :p /has discussed this with you before

Who, you're back too? This is like the reunion of all the old members here. /fuzzy feeling

I think supermodding DFelon would be the permanent solution unless either he or Burt completely left. Like I mentioned earlier, it's between supering DFelon and getting a S&L local, but Burt said he prefered DFelon, and so that's most likely to happen imo. Burt's still gonna be here, just a lot less :) Other than that, it has always been emo since I've been here...it's a trend :-/ I critted your prog piece, did I miss one since then? I always try to give crits to stuff that isn't getting any so...

I love his solo material.

Granted, its very narcissistic, and he misses Dave Gilmour, but Amused to Death has some excellent writing. Plus he got some very good guitarists to work with him (Clapton, Beck).

Ca Ira was quite good, but I never gave it a proper listen.
