I'm really impressed with this board, and I've only been on for about a day. It really is a shame that the board is so slow. Regardless, this is one of my new favorite places on the internet.

By the way, please crit the two pieces I have here. The the first one is a thread, and the other one I posted in the "South" word challenge.

I did it. It's not my best by a long way, and it's pretty simple, but I quite like it in a cute, straightforward way. Besides, it feels great just to be able to write something again.

So yeah, doublepost and whatnot.
 
i just wrote some of a song, but i don't want to make an individual thread for it yet. this is what i have

malachite, you gaze so heavily
through envy i harvest you
and weave the threaRAB of our past

let us take it and shovel the remains
away from this burrow in the hills
let us craft it into something of worth

and from here we'll move forth for
every motion has become fallible
as we bury every step in the dirt
 
A bit of both.

Good; Maybe some more writers coming along so some more quality material and maybe even some more quality crits.

Bad; More dumbass spammers posting joke songs and leaving stupid comments instead of crits etc etc.

A friend and I have just started up a new forum for our school, due to being joint creator I'm also a Moderator. This means that I spend every minute I'm online on the forum. It's doing ridiculously well considering it's only been online three days, we already have over 600 posts.

But yeah, I should hopefully get around here a bit more now that all the creation is done, and once the initial increase in members slackens a little I shouldn't need to spend so long on there...that's the problem with having only three MoRAB on there!!!!


I'll go crit something now.

Too bad it's only got 4 songs and that Dillinger didn't kidnap Patton for good.

50+ crits from Magnus? Sheesh, that's an effort and a half. Only about a quarter of my total posts are critiques I'd say. But I suppose that's becuase I don't generally post that many pieces on the main S&L boarRAB, I'm an LC freak :)

I dig the new rules too.
 
Yeah, we have writing workshops every week for our short stories. Having 16 or 17 different responses gives you a different and wider perspective of how your piece looks and feels.
 
Naw. I havent written anything since "For The Good of The Colony".

Maybe I'll write something soon though. We shall see, aye? :) Thanks though!

And I finished The Alchemist this morning. I think it's worth a read.

Now I need to finish Player Piano... the book I am supposed to read for school. I picked up The Alchemist the other day because it looked good and I dominated it. Hah.
