What little I know about song writing tells me that the percussion is too loud in the first one. I could barely hear your godly guitar skills.
Second one was cool.

what little I know about relationships is in no way helpful/relevant/substantial

I wish I had The ability to play and go crazy on stage.

I can do one thing. but the other goes to hell. Like The mars volta ir At the drive-in. They sacrifice playing well for having fun on stage.

But I try, hell I try. Especially easier songs. I need to start with theory stuff, though. Some real deal in my music could be of work.

I should be putting something on Purevolume in the near future, just got to stop sucking at singing first.

I just pop in and out of S&L now, so i can't really comment. I have noticed a lot of good writers that are new to the forum and i've recieved some decent crits.

Just don't get mad at the internet and everything will be swell.

Anyway, since Burt hates my new poemme entitled "FOUNDATION" (which I adore), can I persuade one of you lovely people to critique it? PWEESE?

My advice for playing a cool live show is practice it at band practice. I've always tried stupid stuff, like playing with my hand from the wrong side of the fretboard, launching myself off of walls and furniture and even using found objects to play my parts (the mic the singer is using can be pretty awesome, especially if he is using it at the same time). Interacting with the band is key.

Listen to The End - Transfer Trachea Reverberations From Point: False Omniscient

It is a super good album that any guitar player or bassist should hear. I reviewed it on rabroad for those interested.

I listen to old UnderOATH (Cries of the Past and The Changing of the Times), too.

Story of the Year is better than HH because they when they play acoustically, they are twenty times better.
