That's kind of like the "emo" which is really indie. I'm guessing you've only heard "The Artist and The Ambulance" by Thrice so I suggest you check out "The Illusion of Safety". A band like Alkaline Trio lyrical wise is Glassjaw, while they are alot harder and scream more they do tend to write about lots of drinking and violence. For JEW I'd check out some of the mid 90's indie rock like Sunny Day Real Estate, Mineral they aren't that similar, but people that like JEW usually like those banRAB. Also make sure you get Clarity by Jimmy Eat World it's a great album.

Yeah, the reason Nick suggested I should be modded as a local though is because he's got college so he's not able to visit daily. Plus he already has the HXC/Emo mod.

Plus, Subtle is thinking about leaving as well so that's minus one other mod.

It'd be nice to have a local S&L mod but I don't see it happening. Oh well, no carrots to bite?

Hmm. I dont like swear worRAB in poetry. Simply for one reason; they are trite.

A word my stepdad says every 3 worRAB lacks any form of emotion when I read it in poetry. It takes away from the "professionalism" that is presented through carefully picked worRAB, in my opinion at least.
 
ahh, I getcha. I love Omaha, I'll be down there in september for a show. Possibly twice, more than likely once though, because the first show is on the day I start school up at uni.
