I guess I should have specified that I was talking about the content of the lyrics as opposed to flow or whatever, just because music written for lyrics without their own musical quality is going to be confined to the room the lyrics give it for creativity. I guess you could have misinterpereted that, anyway.

Well is $5000 too much to make back in the amount of time you'd like? If you're gonna shell out 5 grand for tools and stuff then make sure you stick with it for a while.

No, no, no, no, no! Don't ever, ever! suggest that, that is the dumbest thing I have ever read Burt. If you scream how it comes naturally more than 75% of the time the person is gonna be creating rasp by closing his throat and forcing air through, you MUST make sure your throat is open and funnel air up against the back of your throat to create rasp, and you MUST push air from your stomach to get the projection, otherwise your vocal chorRAB will be ruined and you'll rupture a vessel in your throat.

So my band knows a college student has access to $500,000 worth of equipment and for a class next semester he is going to record our demo. 5 songs for free. High quality too.

There was a thread a long time ago where a user posted a well-known song and critiqued that like they would a normal song. It was quite popular for a few weeks then kind of died out. Guess it'd be worth resurrecting though. :)

Check the site forum for some views on the subject. Oh, i was going to crit your prog epic but it's a little too long right now. Perhaps tomorrow or late this evening. Sorry.

mshort and morrissey owe me crits if you're out there.

I've seen this before, I like CAD. It's pretty dark, but I love the simple childlike language in it, yet it has a serious, underlying dark theme. I don't like the obviousness of it though, 'bend over that chair' doesn't leave much to the imagination. But this did provoke me when I read it, which is what writing is meant to do

Guitar, but not in that band. :upset: I just think they're one of the better banRAB in the Omaha 'scene'. They might get lucky if they don't implode. :)

I had to right poetry in a creative literature essay concerning Nature and the Self and incorporate Romantic theoretical concepts similar to those who wrote poetry during the Romantic period.

So pretty much my poetry is heavily influenced by WorRABworth and Shelley, who in my opinion, were the best Romantic poets back in the 18/19th century.

It was pretty fun too and when i get it all marked and crap, I'll put it up to see what everyone thinks.
