"Reddy's tips"

1. Spell things correctly

2. Don't post things like that, especially not in here

3. Don't spam. If you feel you have something more to add to your post please EDIT.

AN S&L suggestion:

So guys, what do you think if we make a monthly voting for the best song/poem that's been written here? How could would that be!

*steals other forums ideas lol*

I think a lot of people are missing the fact that lyrics are supposed to be a part of music instead of just a poem. Me and members of my band have passed up a lot of brilliant lyrics because they didnt fit with the style we wanted.

Yeah, that was the one. The thing with the Dante quote. I posted part two recently and it was entirely ignored, which is why I'm complaining.

Hell, part 2 was nowhere near as good as part 1, and it needed work, which is why I posted it.

Hey, if you guys post anything, tell me so I can crit it right away and beat the rush.

So would it be a faux pas to post a song without first doing a crit? I'll (hopefully) be done mine soon, and whole-heartedly plan to do crits, but was wondering if I had to do it before I posted the song, or if I could do it after, as long as it was within a reasonably short amount of time after.

Just got an email saying I'm got one of five editorial positions for the experimental writing section of my uni's online creative writing magazine :smoke:

thanks, i'll try to stick around. I'll post something else soon (when its written) but until then, i'll carry on crit-ing other work.

i've had a look at your piece, hope i was of some help, but there wasn't much i could say
