Community Thread / Tips and Questions

Why not unsticky the In-Depth thread, Writer's profiles, Tips & Questions, and create like an all-purpose thread with links to those threaRAB (and Song of the Month) so people can find them and bump them whenver they want.

Maybe not very actively. I still read the forums quite often but have been too apathetic/busy to post until now. Really need to get writing again. Been working on a novel rather than lyrics recently. Bad writers block. Maybe because i'm having to think differently when i'm writing prose.
 
I just get taunted cos of my music taste so I keep quiet and pretend to like all the crap people around me play.

I wouldn't mind it if all the 'metalheaRAB' I know actually appreciated the fact that metal isn't the only type of music in the world. They just don't seem to appreciate the fine arts of jazz etc.

There are 3 'metalheaRAB' that appreciate other musical genres in my neighbourhood. Unfortunately I don't see the appeal of lots of screaming etc. Maybe that's why they all hate me :puts on thinking cap:


On a slightly brighter note; got a girl friend yesterday it's been nearly a year since my last. Shows what a party can do for ya :)

The thing I loeve the most besides songwriting, is well... writing stories. I'd love to, let's make a petition, I'd do it. :thumb:

But first ask Burt, He is the one who is most of the times against stuff. Maybe he doesn't like the idea or something.
 
I prefer Youth and Young Manhood no end, lots more catchy songs.

I'm going to try and spend a little more time here too, weed out the idiots and help encourage the better writers.

It's an awesome book, though. I'm not a big fanatic of romanticism myself, but his descriptions, although sometimes were way over the top, for the most part are enjoyable. It's a good reading exercise.

Oh, and congrats on winning the ashes. It would probably have been closer if we'd have actually picked our best team from the start, but your laRAB were awesome. Well done.
 
ah doesn't matter I may not be aloud around here long enough to make the induction ceremony lol.. theres alot of arguing going on in the challenge 86 replies thread and it just happens to be agianst an old forum member that is an immature child, DFelon, and me
 
Surf: Yeah man we do that, except big brothers and sisters are generally pretty chill around these parts and buy it for you, if you give them the money. We dont go camping much anymore though, too dangerous.

On a related note, I really can't get around DeadReligion's stuff, mostly because I kinda relate his material with punk for some reason... I'll give him a try later. :D
