Haha, I do love it when the pit vets just turn up in here and post two lines that whilst completely arrogant and cruel, are also usually deadly accurate.

Apart from Tojes, he's always way out. :p
 
I have written several short stories on the concept of mass sense-deprivation. Specifically one about a small band of people in the "South of the World" who are all born blind. They form a community and a lifestyle, and the writing is basically a collection of completely abstract images and worRAB as they develop their critique and analysis of the world they live in. They're eventually met by people with sight, and the description of their environment is what really appeals to me. The ignoring of typical architecture because...well, they can't see!

I think you should most definetely consider "the blind" or "the deaf" or some sort of sense deprivation as the centerpiece for a novel. It's an incredibly deep topic.

It wasn't too bad, though. Lots of free time and dinners and cookies and soda. Thank god for fast metabolisms.
 
On the subject of musical taste, can anyone recommend me some banRAB/songwriters who you think write great lyrics? I'm suffering from a shortage of new things right now.
 
I don't have good luck with fellow musicians, most of them are very, very crappy ones and think that modern rock and pop-rock is amazing, and the few great musicians are all occupied and into projects I don't fit in.

I guess I'll record my post-rock-metal-jazzblues-sex album will have to be on the works all alone.

In the songwriting department it's kinda flowing, some new stuff on the works too.
