Community Thread / Tips and Questions

Awesome idea Dfelon. I'll be waiting for a piece I feel strongly enough on, and will then get onto it.

As Burt said, there's the potential for a bit of moaning and bitching from less experienced/gracious users, but for the most part that thread is going to be really useful - sometimes you want lots of opinions that scratch the surface to get a general idea, and sometimes you really want a piece dissected, which is what the thread should do beautifully.

Yeah I was thinking about making it small again because I get too much attention.

I personally think rep is more important to be quite honest, because having 3700+ is jsut not enough for serious.

mmmmm.. beach... that makes me wish I were in Honduras again... Man, Dolan, why'd you have to talk about the beach?! I live in Minnesota! Winters here last forever! And it's not even winter yet! GAAAAHHH!

I don't know any of these new people. None of them will even give stanza by stanza critiques. They just pat eachother on the butt with little 3 sentance crits, then ask for a crit on their own piece.

If even one would give me a decent critique every one in a while, rather than just saying something stupid and asking me to waste my time reading their trash, perhaps I'd give critiques back.

The only regulars left are ATC, Super_Deluxe, me, Subtle, DFelon, and some other people who do the LCs. The rest drift in and out.
