Yeah, the fact that ownership is even an issue is bad news for a band I think. On one hand, you might just be claiming what's rightfully yours, but on the other hand it's like you're stepping away from the band, or trying to elevate yourself above the others. I would just be glad something I wrote is being put to music, and if anybody wanted to know the truth then all they'd have to do is ask.

And a haiku thread would be cool. Actually, a thread for poetic forms (sonnet, haiku, tanka, villanelle, etc.) would be nice; just something to acknowledge the difference between song lyrics and poetry, you know? I doubt it'll work, though. Poetry or not, everybody still wants crits.

There are always conclusions to be made. Even if it's only a you suck or you rock, the important thing is to say what you think of it, and being a bit objective.

Starts at minimum wage, and you get a $.25 raise for every 4 months or something if you work so many hours a week. I have a different job for this summer but I'll be coming and going at the restaurant. I think I'm up over $6.15 or something now. These last few months I've just been not wanting to work, too much going on at the moment. So to answer your question, no.

Just critique any song and put up your piece whenever.

Just remember, the more you critique others, the more likely you're going to have the critique returned in favour.

Wow, I would have a hard time writing a novel with that kind of time constraint. Also, I'm a big-time slacker and have lots of other work that neeRAB to be done, like school work. I'd put it off until it was too late.

Also, Mozza, good work scoring a giant "House" av. I love that show.

SounRAB fun, I saw See You Next Tuesday, Psyopus, and Job For A Cowboy last night... I have a black eye, but it was fun. Next Thursday I'm going to see Converge. :D

I was going to do a creative writing course start this September. I decided against it however as really i'm not that great a writer and quite a few of the courses required an English A-level, something which i don't possess.

Congrats on getting published man, which pieces were they, i wouldn't mind a read.

Never got into Elliott Smith too much, might have to give him a try.
