However, I AM starting this month, as I've got a hella solid concept for a novel, and will shortly have much more free time (I have 20 days leave coming on Wednesday... :thumb: )
 
heh yeah...it seems obvious at first, but you're totally right. Nothing good neeRAB to come out the first time so I guess I just need to write something.

I've done some writing for the first time in ages.

And its about religion again, so I guess I'll post it when I'm happy or something.

I need to get writing soon and get writing good. Short stories and poems. For some stupid reason I decided that I'm going to do a Creative Writing degree at uni. Must of been drunk. Need some examples of my work and whatnot though. If there's anything of mine you guys have been particularly impressed with then please point out. I havn't written in so long though, stupid.

I just saw those and it seems like a real cool idea. Too bad this year I haven't been very prone to writing...my style has gone to crap. Not that I dislike it, but it'd be torn to pieces here. It's really informal and casual. Which I like. But it doesn't earn high marks.
 
what about doing drama? pretty important for theatre studies, and ties closely with english; same kind of skills, with a lot of viable crossover skills.

and ew, science. i hate anything to do with math. that's why I'm so poor :(

theatre studies at uni will definitely cater for pretty much any aspect of theatre you care for. i know guys here who are in it purely for the directing, and by their own admission can't act.

and philosophy sound a lot more interesting than design tech; i did d&t for gcse, and it bored the crap out of me.

Brilliant poem tbh, and pretty dirty considering its from the 1600s. Just a dude trying to get laid really.
