can i go do harsh first impression critical crits i feel like doing that because i mostly dont like any songs lyrics
 
I've a suggestion, that, has nothing to do with the previous conversation. Take off the swear filter. Anyone old enough to write and post here, is old enough to hear the word fuck once in a while, plus, there isn't much point to it, as it is easily overridden, as I just demonstrated. And, as writers, I think we should be able to express our ideas with any worRAB that we choose. Plus, what about freedom of speech, I mean, it seems stupid that we're writers who don't condone the use of all worRAB, even "bad ones." Thought I'd throw that out there.
 
i like everything except you should go into detail around the second to last paragraph, the one that discribes her giving up.

I'm finding it hard to crit lately. I have that horrible feeling of superiority where everyone seems to be writing lyrics which aren't that great. At all. Even the good writers. I guess I miss the simplicity of great lyrics, I'm just lacking the motivation to crit as much as I used to, I used to crit way more back in March when I joined, there seemed to be a lot more originality. I need a piece to refresh me. Or perhaps I've just been being very cynical lately, I dunno. I miss school. Anyone else ever get this feeling?

And don't take this as a 'I'm the best' speech
 
i have a friend who is adamant that if you pour some chemical (can't remember which - some medicine) in your ear, then it kills off all the germs and you're cured. he would never do it to himself though so i wouldn't advise it.
 
Their songs are not complex. They're really stupid and predictable chord progressions with a loser shredding a scale over them so people will think his wang is bigger than theirs. I can see every change in DT songs coming from a mile away.
