I got given an Epiphone 400 Les Paul Custom SG by a load of mates earlier this year. T'is a beautiful guitar (Yes they gave it to me, they grouped together and bought me it. For ebing 'a great mate' apparently :S)

Eh, I don't see how, but nor do I have the insight of other places it does work, so I can't tell you anything factually.

I actually hate that community, but to each their own I guess. But I also think it's easier to discuss music than songwriting all the time. I personally could discuss music all the time and get a community out of that, and I do do that, but I find it much more difficult to do the same for S&L. It's your call though as you run the show, and I won't contest it more because I know I won't change your mind.

I agree. I don't know if I'm one of those writers you don't enjoy, but either way I feel the S7L forums are too filled with writers who just write bullshit on paper and have no emotion in what they write. Emotion IS writing, so take your time you "newer" guys and gals.

Aye, I remember those times (I was writing sh!te then) I only recently came back; writing half decent stuff now though .

DeadReligion; some of your writing is absolutely awesome, I think you are one of my favourite writers on here at the moment.

I gave some of my writing to my english teacher to have a look at, she read the one that I posted on here ('For my father') in the lesson. She was quite emotional about it, she said that it was beautiful and that it was great I had a way to channel my emotions. I must say I was pleased when she said that it had taken a trip around the staff room, and I now have teachers coming up to me complimenting me on my writing

If/when i go back to uni i'll still be on a lot. I sleep little and MX breaks the boredom. Playing guitar at 3am is not recommended unless you want evicted
