It's a little bit inconsistent, and it shows you had no theme in the beginning, since you started with a quite complex theme, a complex scenery, which I find to be quite good, and uh then it's kinda hindered and some good snapshots come here and there.

You need focus.
 
Of those I've only heard Cursive, but they're awesome.

Eh, he's talked about in Rolling Stone and stuff, he's definitely well known. But the reason I'm forced to care is because anytime I say a thing against him, I know a bunch of people who will literally not talk to me. Just because I don't think his lyrics are anything special.
 
Guys we just need a moderator who actually pays attention to the forum and adRAB a little bit of life to it, that's all.

Not just some spammer and stuff. CONTRIBUTORS. THAT'S WHAT WE NEED FOR MODERATION.

On a related note I'll make a thread so I hope you guys participate.
 
then will it be based on say consistency of writing, i.e. several good songs, or one outstanding piece, but not much else?

and yeah, writer is the best choice.
 
Ha, you haven't been here almost three years. Trust me, it has rarely been any better. I'm making an effort to clean things up a bit now that I'm back.

Anyhow, I think I'll go out to a party later, bbq sausage fest somewhere and something else I can't remember... I have to do a lot of papers due next month but they are way too much to spare.
