I suck at prose. I don't have the attention span for it.

But I've got to write quite a bit of it for uni, so crit for crit could work well.

Plus I've got loaRAB of notes on what not to do and crap like that, so i guess I could give critting it a go.

Hello S&L. I hardly know ye.

I'm Joe. I write off and on. I'll do some good critiques, but expect that people would be willing to critique my efforts.

The crowd here seems pretty nice. I guess I'll pull up a stool and hang around a bit.

If you've ever read Alan Moore, you'd automatically stay away from awful movies like V that try to capitalize on his books.

Only people who win crap get big avatars. I was going to start handing them out for song of the month but Jason fell off the face of the earth (before I did anyway)

Movies that have "inspired" me have been: Sin City, Hero, 21 Grams, Eternal Sunshine on a Spotless Mind, The Patriot, the HBO series Band of Brothers, Crash, Saw, ......ummmm.....I can't remember any others.. But there's a few that I've enjoyed and written some neat stuff afterwarRAB

I think the big problem is that no one likes critting. Hell, I admit that I don't really like critting (mainly because I don't like just about any of the songs I see here). So we get a bunch of noobs posting one song and no one doing anything productive.

Yeah, I've just decided to get a Line 6 Spider II 30, and save myself the trouble of finding an amp + pedal. I'll upgrade to a Spider 212 and get the footboard when I have the money, but you've gotta love those Celestions. Also Midnight, I figured I'd ask some people who knew what my writing was like that could offer me a pedal they think could fit my sound. Plus I like you guys better than the guitar forum people.

Unfortunately that's true what RollerQueen says. When ATC and a few others come out with work I always make a point of looking at them.

Meh... I haven't written in a while, the impending exams are putting music on hold, but I have some gigs in july and I want at least one new song to add to the setlist.
