Community Thread / Tips and Questions

Ah good old Duke of Edinburgh. I completed silver about 6 months ago and handed in my award book. I was preparing to begin gold this summer until I was told that they don't have my Silver book cause the jackass I handed the book to has lost it. I'm still arguing with them at the moment.

Well, but if you see what Burt's main premise is: He doesn't want this as a spam thing... I guess it hasn't been too spammy, like it's been stated before, we talk about everyday stuff, sure, but we don't post 's or :)'s, I think... well. I don't know, I don't have the lead in this forum, but it's a little to harsh to make us talk exclusively about songwriting, especially as some users don't ever set foot outside of here (i.e. Sloth) and you don't really get to know them.

But it's really up to whoever has the lead in here, if Burt believes this can be a spam nest, then it's his duty to keep clean this part of the forums. If we behave maybe he'll lighten up in that, and we'll be able to do something better about it... and well, it's not like we're 3 users talking about the same things over and over again (i.e. Biilly Corgan Appreciation thread ) It's quite a bunch of guys talking about other aspects of our lives. As soon as you see it's a quite centralized talk, then you can act, but I don't anything wrong is being done here.

One of my favourite banRAB! Someone recommended trhem to me in alt/indie about a year ago. Great lyrics.

Thanks to all others for suggestions so far. I'll have a look at them all.

I've also been considering reading 'War and Peace', thing is, I just don't have the time!! I'm sure I will eventually!

This is certainly the best community thread on MusicianForums/MX/rabroad whatever yuou want to call it. I haven't seen many that have the same range of conversation topics, and people tend to be able to express their opinion and not get killed for it!! It's probably because we're all literate (or pretend to be anyway)

One of the books that I'm glad I read before I saw the film was Clockwork Orange. The film has such a distinctive look that it's hard to get it out of your head.

Someone come pick me up and drive me to Minneapolis on the 29th...I'd like to get to a show but I can't drive atm due to the law...and such...Anyway, you pick me up and I'll pay the 10 bucks or whatever to get into the show...it'll be a glorious time...None of my frienRAB are free and those who are don't like the music I like or are as fond of concerts as I am..Furthermore...

In closing...I will now have missed 3 shows I wanted to see this month...:( Yet I still hit the big one with seeing Dylan..wooo
