What kind of candy?

And Tim: thanks for the crit man, i was only after like a few worRAB in here or something, but that's great. I'll get yours in the morning.

That's all post-rock.

If you want acutal music centered around ambience, I'd suggest

Brian Eno - Ambient 1
Brian Eno - Ambient 2
Autechre - Amber
Sunn - Black One
Sunn - 3: Flight of the Behemoth
Black Dice - Beaches & Canyons
Set Fire to Flames - Sings Reigns Rebuilder

That should be a good start. If you like it, or need any of it. Pixiesfanyo is my AIM.

sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It does make me focus a lot more, as usually I tend to be all over the place when writing. But at least it helps keep the piece focused and flowing, as it was all written in one sitting.

the 606 is okay provided you're not huge on wah, as the wah function is pretty weak. Other than that, it's a pretty neat little pedal that does a whole lot reasonably well without doing anything spectacularly. I picked mine up for

The Chariot: Has ex-norma jean vocalist, who was on the Bless The Martyr cd, and a lot heavier. I saw them live along with Showbread, As Cities Burn, He Is Legend, and Far-Less. www.purevolume.com/thechariot/

He Is Legend: They are awesome, a mix of quiet a few genres. The vocalists range is pretty sweet, and he does some heavy growls. I guess you would have to hear them, The Seduction is a good song. www.purevolume.com/heislegend/

Both are signed to Tooth & Nail I believe.

I have heard Bless The Martyr, Kiss the Child upwarRAB of 20 times (full cd listens), so I am quiet firmiliar with Memphis. I love Aaron's guest vocals.

MWY is my favorite band, of all time. I have been a fan since A to B life, and got possesion of the songs from their demo. I have listned to Catch for us the foxes upwarRAB of 30-40 times, full cd listens.

I got Konrad addicted to MWY, and I believe I introduced them to Zeppi.

Hmmmmm, what else am I spinning on my cd playa. Well, on my mp3 player I have been listening to a lot of Porcupine Tree, The Fall Of Troy ( www.purevolume.com/thefalloftroy ), Dragonforce, The Pixies, Still Remains ( http://www.purevolume.com/stillremains/ ), Monday In London, Show Bread, Norma Jean, Nodes Of Ranvier (metalcore, like NJ - www.purevolume.com/nodesofranvier/ blink or we may miss it is a good song from the cd)....

Yea, I dunno. I have been working 4ish hours a day, post schoolage, and I decided today that i was going to use the company gym. That was the first tiem I have ever worked out (outside of my house or school) and I liked it, i need to put more muscle on my 6'2 frame.

yeah, 123 etc.

Just a thought for the critiquing guys, I'm going to start using the 'rate thread' feature, just to give a quick snapshot of the quality of the thread - during busy times it can take about 30-45 seconRAB to load a page on a 56k, longer if user is downloading as well, so it's frustrating to wait that long to view a song and it turns out to be trash.
Any thoughts?

I like how they say that their definition of "emo" banRAB have epic length songs that build up to someone crying. And I also like how they tell you what "classic emo gear" is.

OK gotta go.

Dan (RollerQueen) is my homie, so I talk to him all the time anyway... hehe.

I am kinda in a stalemate on a band right now. Been trying to organize something lately, and I jammed with a few frienRAB last weekend. My friend matt (who plays guitar) laid down this generic drum beat and Joe did some work on bass, and then I just started singing Bobby Brown by Frank Zappa and it sounded pretty sweet. Haha, but that was just messing around.

They may have found another guitarist and a drummer so I may have a spot to fill...

Tonight: The Chariot, Fear Before The March Of Flames, some other band, and Underoath (i like the older stuff A LOT better).
