I would bump it, but searching's been disabled, and if you think I'm wading through 300-odd pages of generic emo titles, then you have another think coming. :)

It was enough work ploughing through the pages hunting for the near-mythical "Can u smell it?"
 
Surrealism is pretty cool. I don't know huge amounts about it, but i like Magritte and Tanguy, two of the more famous surrealists. But everyone loves Dali: Metamorphosis of Narcissus is my favourite of his. Ernst seems cool, so I'll check out some of his stuff.



Reason is very cool because you can actually construct music alot easier, like from scratch. If you're sampling/mixing stuff, then ACID is great, but if you want to write out some beats or chord sequences, then Reason is the way forward. I usually end up using a mix of the two because I like the ACID interface more.

I was acting childishly last night, I was just so insulted out of the blue.

I've got another melodic death band that's been kind of on hold, involving the old band's guitarist, and another local band's guitarist, but old band's bassist and drummer wanna do it, so I guess it's just same old band + a new guitarist/songwriter.

Write about the first snow of the year from an adult's perspective.
Have the adult think about how much fun snow was when he was a kid, but now that he's an adult, there isn't time for fun in the snow.
But then have him go do something, or drive somewhere, but on the way he gets into a violent car wreck. And end the piece with "so much for fun in the snow" or something like that..
HA..I might do that too
 
I blame christmas. Everyone is far too exictable and not depressive/poetic enough.

I'm thinking of posting the piece from the last challenge to get some crits, I'm no sure what else I can do with it.
