What neeRAB to be happening is for the not so good writers to stick around and learn from their criticisms and from reading the better writers stuff. I know that i've most definitely become more creative from being around here, although i don't know about better. I always seem to run into the same problems with my stuff and i know my major flaw: lack of concentration. I tend to be "in the zone" (that's the worst phrase ever btw) at the start of writing a piece and then tail off after a verse or so. Trouble is i can never concentrate long enough to try to fix my flaw...
metaliq: i find that working with others brings on my creativity too. Unfortunately i do most of the writing duties for my project, both lyrical and musical. I find sometimes that when no-ones pushing me i don't move forward.
ah, you would like some metalcore, I would think. My personal favorites are Converge, Unearth, Every Time I Die, early Cave In, fordirelifesake, Poison the Well, old Norma Jean.
I've been in work all day and I dropped boiling cappacino over myself.
And I need a cigarette but have none.
And I'm still suffering from new year's eve, it destroyed my sleep cycle. its like jet lag but feels like a pig shat in my head.
