color code for car stereo?

I have a 1992 VW Eurovan. I need to figure out the color code for the Stereo so that I can install a cd player. I could go use a multimeter and figure it out but it would be much easier if someone knew. I have looked around on the net and could not find anything with the right colors that sounded right. The colors of the cords are as follows in no particular order:

red
brown/red
thick brown ( I believe this is the ground)
brown/blue
brown
red/green
gray/blue
blue
red/white
blue/green
brown/red
brown/black
brown/white
blue/white

and then I know what the antenna is.

Any help would be great. A source would also be useful. thanks very much.
