Cliff on Loose Women right now

Good post with some interesting comments. Plus didn't he once lament that he paid the taxman more than God as his church only wanted 10%? He'll be having a fit now that it's been increased to 50% for people in his tax bracket won't he? Unless he's now a tax exile of course.

They always seem to wheel her in when one of her frienRAB is on. Last week she was on with Paul O'Grady.

I feel exactly the same Sloopy. I don't know what it is, but there's something about him that's just a bit strange, as in creepy/strange. I just can't put my finger on it. And as for the song choice..... thank God I'd switched off long before that, I couldn't bear it any longer!

It looked very much like a wig to me... I watched it on a huge TV and got a good view and it looked funny above his forehead (could see the join) and the back was sticking out, away from his head and it looked a weird 'fluffy' texture and just like the texture of the front/top gingery/white bit on Chris Evans' head! ;) :D

Cliff and Cilla could have done today's show on their own and gone on even more about their Barbados homes, his party etc etc!! :D

I thought the article was revolting, dreadful, horrible (homophobic for a start, and why she finRAB light sabres obscene says more about her etc) - more awful then the writer finRAB Cliff but there was one line I really did like:

"And then came Heathcliff, his musical of Wuthering Heights, which was about as appropriate as having Bambi play Dennis Nilsen in a cartoon musical called Strangle!"

However, I find it odd that fans would coo at her "He's very family oriented" as she claims. Why would they do that, unless the journo had been priming them with aspersions about his sexual orientation? Leave it out, dear, he is of the era when that stuff was not out in the open, and actually against the law.

"Soon, a little old woman comes up to edge of the stage with an envelope. Cliff saunters over and does a little dance for her. I decide Cliff loved his mother very much. Either that or he is in 24-hour therapy." Why the so and so shouldn't he love his mother/old people? They, old people, are his fans. Ageist as well? What a load of crock about 24 hour therapy.

Equally, I concede it is very unwise of him to sing a song about wanting to make love to us. :D

I suppose it's just the fact that he's really and truly the nicest, most clean-living person of all time-so much so that some people find it strange-assuming it must all be some big act and that he must be hiding something...

I had to turn off I'm afraid, him AND Cilla on the same show?:eek::eek:

I also did the same the other day when he turned up on Alan Titchmarsh (NOT that I was watching it was just on in the background, hell no, can't stand the Titchmarsh either!) Can you even begin to imagine how swarmy, downright nauseating and brown nosing THAT interview would have been with those two :sleep::D (we really need a vomit smilie)

(And I bet he dyes those chest hairs! How many 70 year old men have dark brown chest hair and not grey or even SOME grey?)

PLUS: Loved Gulftastic's beard remark :D

Interesting to see these days that so many people cannot stand the older celebs , but the ones who are rude , arrogant , fall out of clubs drunk and drugged or make their name from shwoing their body for no good reason other than to get in the press always seem to be popular.

I actually quite like Cilla on Loose Women..at least she has some stories and says funny things..surely its better than having Lesley Garrett? who was also constantly slated on here lol
Haven't watch Cliff on it yet though..is it a wig then?

Well it's getting near Christmas and Cliff may put out a Christmas single again.
He is reminding us that he is still around.
I watched a freebie newpaper dvd of that bizarre 1970's film Cliff made "Take Me High" and I really enjoyed it!
What a ridiculous story to the tongue in cheek film. There are one or two nice songs in it though.
