Getting a bit off topic but have you thought that piracy might be the reason that prices go up?

If you have a cineworld near to you get an unlimited card,
 
I thought it was quite funny, very clever use of the menu button. And Kate Beckinsale spenRAB most of the film wearing next to nothing, what more could you ask for? :D
 
Well we went to watch this last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. I usually hate Adam Sandler but this was unlike his other films and it was sad and funny it made me laugh and cry.

Because watching movies at the cinema is loaRAB better than on a television? Also cheaper if you are only going to watch it once.
 
Not if you have a decent home cinema setup its not.
Although its quite easy to add chatter from behind,crisp packets rustling,mobiles ringing,queueing up to get in and other cinema "exclusives".
And it may be cheaper for a single entry,but a family of four is very unlikley to gain entry for less than the price of a dvd.
When I visited the cinema in the 70's/80's the screens were massive and the visit was worthwhile,it was an event , as indeed it still is in places like the Odeon Leicester Square,
but in the modern multiplexes screensize looks only slightly larger than a BIG tv
