Aww wow, now Im real excited to see it. It isnt everyday where you get lots of heart-felt scenes with Adam in it.

I was hesitant about seeing this since I thought this would be the same Sandler gimmick like Mr. Deeds and Little Nicky. But surprisingly, it's really good probably because Sandler doesn't do his "obnoxious man-boy" shtick isn't as prevalent in this one.

Also, there were actually a couple scenes where they were heartfelt and well-done, which I won't spoil for those who haven't seen it. And Beckinsale was gorgeous despite her "age" in this film, need her in more shorts for films,

Grade: B (so far, it's the best movie this summer, not saying much though since the summer blockbusters have been very mediocre).

I keep seeing previews of it and It still looks funny. Im counting down the days for that.

Mixed Nuts is pretty good. Jenny it stars Steve Martin as well. It's a Christmas movie.

Little Nicky has been his worst I think.

Anji- Mixed Nuts? :lmao: I never seen that film of his before. Whats it about?

Shrr- I understand. The two movies that I didnt really like of his is Little Nicky and Billy Madison.

I like the part in the trailer where he press pauses on the remote and moves the kids glove out of the way and then plays play and he gets hit by it  If only I had a remote like that to use.

I'm seeing it, huge Sandler fan here! I own all his movies, and this looks like another touching/hilarious one like Big Daddy.

I think it will be pretty good.

As for me I'm a DVD junkie but I'm still a theater junkie as well..........I love seeing movies at the theater.

It's getting close!

It doesn't look very funny to me, but I also like Adam Sandler so I think I'll be catching the DVD. It's nice to see that Adam Sandler is finally growing up a bit in his movies. He's starting to play the father type in his films instead of the big kid who never grew up. Thank goodness he realized that he couldn't do potty humor forever.

I'll definitely be seeing this. It looks pretty good and it does look like there are some dramatic moments as well as the comedy which is cool.

My favorite comedy of Adam's is probably Happy Gilmore. I just love that one.

But favorite performance ever is probably Punch Drunk Love, although I did love him in Spanglish as well.

 Okay, asking that question means that my answer would pretty much mean nothing. Why wouldn't I be offended by it, even with something as simple as the plot?

But don't get me wrong - I adore Adam Sandler in about half his films. :D

I love her - ever since Cold Comfort Farm (a FANTASTIC film). She's great with comedy, so this could be terrific. :)

 I don't blame you. I love collecting DVD's too. I have so many VHS's its crazy. Im hopefully if this movie turns out to be pretty decent (which Im sure it will) then I will buy it and add it to my Adam collection.

I love the part where he uses the remote to put everything in Spanish. His face is just too funny in that scene, he's so giddy and his voice is funny in Spanish.

I don't know how I will feel about Kate.....not a huge-huge fan of hers, though I did like her in Serendipity, but that was about it.

I personally am looking forward to this movie. I will probably wait until it either hits the cheap theater by my house or until it comes out on DVD, but I like Adam Sandler.

Anyone else planning on seeing it?

Me either, I would feel bad for Adam and them if the movie didnt succeed but its nice for me to get to see it early instead of paying 8 dollars to see it in the theater. Im a cheap person

 Exactly! I love not having to wait as long these days....usually just 4 months now.
