Cleaning oil-soaked wetlands may be impossible

Lets also not forget about the oil refineries and other items that were spilled directly ON land which nicely soaked into our ground water supplies and other areas during the hurricanes. LOL

I have some links from that as well. At least some decent photos.

I don't either, and I buy that recycled paper toilet paper. Not as soft as Charmin but it helps a little bit. I unplug everything in my apartment that isn't being used, I think the only thing I'm really bad at is the AC, it's set on 75 but it's hot as balls here in Florida

it's short.

the plant life tends to recover very well. don't know about the animal life.

Not necessarily. Accretion happens in wetlands which creates the areas where the wetlands are in the first place (mostly, and especially around that area).

No, I'm just saying that it's not like this wasn't an avoidable disaster. It's not a question of using oil or not using oil. It's a question of using oil because we have to, but stopping negligence.

unless you don't own a car or bicycle, wear nothing but fucking hemp or cotton. shut the fuck up...

the moment you can show me that we can entirely cut away from petroleum products THE COUNTRY AND WORLD will continue to drill.

you're an unrealistic ass that won't realize the stipulations this hypocritical nations has put us in, puts us in the situation of working where we can.

Yeah it is going to destroy BP

please, fucking congress and the executive are in their pockets if it isn't obvious

just because you don't care, it doesn't mean everyone else doesn't care.

i care. it doesn't DIRECTLY affect me, but I do enjoy cheap seafood.

We had one mistake. Yes, a VERY big one. Like I said, a lot has been taken away from this. I have done field installs in 8,000ft of water. Everything has gone smoothly when it comes to doing damage to the environment. Shit happens sometimes.

It kills BP to be in the area they are in after their refinery plant explosion they suffered in Texas City years ago. That caused a HUGE shift of money to move towards safety to help reshape their name and how people in the industry viewed them. All of their time and money wasted JUST for this to happen to them. This is a fucking NIGHTMARE for them right now because of the damage to their reputation, something they have taken years to change.

It is a pain to work with them because their policies for safety are almost ridiculous. Ask anyone in this industry that has had to deal with them. Anyways, they have great engineers there. Companies like Cameron, NOV, FMC, Mustang, and EVERYONE else can take a lot away from this.

This leak is terrible and is a fucking disaster, but what are we going to do? Stop using oil?

Before this happened, if you asked ANYONE in the industry who the most safety oriented company is you'd probably get a split between BP and Schlumberger.

Even after this is will probably be the same.
