Cleaning oil-soaked wetlands may be impossible

Looks like they are on to something there.

Doesn't really help stop the flow of oil from the ocean floor, but it looks like its effective as hell at soaking up the surface oil. They need to do this. Better than pantyhose full of hair floating around in the ocean.

We humans are pretty much destined to destroy ourselves by slowly and systematically poisoning our planet and making it eventually unlivable.

Yea, I see now. It's kind of like trying to model an ecosystem...you can never fully predict what's going to happen because there are situations that can't be incorporated into the program or just aren't thought of.

See, in my view, they should have replaced the old equipment and maybe this wouldn't have happened in the first place. I feel bad for the families of the guys who died, for the fishermen, for the tourist industry. It seems to me that it could have been prevented, and that's what pisses me off. Also, they are being shady about allowing scientists to test the water and about releasing the data they've already collected to ANY outside sources. It's like they're trying to hide something.

I am playing devils advocate here. I hate seeing what has happened because I love to Hunt and fish. I enjoy seafood. I am a member of the CCA (Coastal Conservation Association) and will be working for a new company ON the gulf constructing new Oil/Gas Topsides. (the working/living quarters of rigs/platforms)
